Why did we do that?

Sometimes in life, we make decisions that we live to regret in the future. At that moment,we would think that we are sure of the decision, and we will NEVER regret,in fact,we would feel happier. But if life is so certain, everything would be so bland and boring.Things turn out different from what we believed would be.Sometimes,we just ponder over the possible consequences if the decision had been otherwise. Would we be happier, would we be enjoying ourselves more? *Hmmm*
Nevertheless,it's not always regrets that make us think.Sometimes, the happiness at present make me grateful for making certain choices. But, under some other circumstance,i would regret for making that same choice then. It is such a dilemma. Why would human beings never be contented with what we thought we would? We are a greedy lot of people, always asking for more of everything.
Remember, opportunities do not come knocking more than once.Sometimes, decisions have to be made more intuitive because there is no point thinking over the consequences, since we always have moments when we regret and rejoice over.
